Based in Chesterfield County and conveniently located near 288 and Chippenham Parkway, our family owned kitchen and bath design studio has served Central Virginia customers for over 30 years. Today we have over 30 employees, a full showroom, NKBA certified designers, a builder & commercial division and multiple installation teams.
Every day we work with homeowners, DIY’ers, contractors and builders to design and install quality kitchens and baths, including cabinets, countertops, hardware, lighting and more. We can design a space from scratch or help you transform your dated space into a showplace.

Design Team
Dan Wines – Certified Kitchen Designer – ext. 305
Dan is our senior kitchen and bath designer and considers his many years of hands-on experience with cabinets, appliances and residential construction as valuable as his BSBA in Management from Old Dominion University. He became an NKBA certified designer in 2001 and served as state president for the Virginia NKBA Chapter in 2006. He is a published designer and has been awarded “Best Kitchen” and “Best Master Bath” by the 2013 Parade of Homes.

Jenn is a kitchen and bath professional with over 30years of experience. While a majority of Jenn’s focus is with new construction, she also collaborates on commercial and remodel projects. Jenn enjoys the challenge of designing dream kitchens while operating within various budgets and design constraints.

After Graduating from Lee Davis High School and completing the two year cabinet making and mill-work course at Richmond Technical Center in 1981, Roger entered the custom cabinet industry in a small shop in Hanover County, Virginia. Over 4 decades later, He and his wife, Connie are the proud owners of Better Kitchens and Baths Inc. Since its beginning in 1990, Better Kitchens and Baths has continued to grow and establish itself as a premier provider of quality kitchen and bath materials, installation and service in Central Virginia.
We are proud to provide a wide variety of quality materials that allow us to provide a project based on just about any budget. We offer a product mix that ranges from nice stock cabinetry to full custom furniture grade cabinetry and everything in between. Combine this product mix with the experience and knowledge of our design and installation staff, you can be assured of an excellent experience and finished product.
Better Kitchens has their own full time installation crews in house, as well as several craftsmen who specialize in certain aspects of installation. We also have trade partners for specialized fields such as plumbing, electrical, ceramic tile and so on, so we can provide as much of a turnkey job as you require.
